Styling Workshop

If you've seen The Devil Wears Prada, you'll know that the fashion industry is a notoriously competitive and difficult industry to get into, and even trickier to be successful in. You can not be better prepared to conquer the industry than after a StyleAware Training Day.

No other course offers the training, expertise and experience that Faye Marriott can give you, having worked on numerous international Vogue shoots and on various UK magazines such as Stella, The Saturday Times and Condenast Traveller.

Following the success of our sell out summer workshops, StyleAware are running a series of intensive styling training days on the following dates:

All courses run in a photographic studio in East London and last for one day from 10am - 5pm.


Led by Faye Marriott, this unique course provides an insight into the exciting world of fashion assisting and styling for those who want to succeed in this fast growing, fast paced and cut throat industry. You will be introduced to the fundamental basics of fashion assisting which will enable you to eventually become a stylist in your own right. The course also covers:

• Practical styling exercise - your look will be shot by a renowned fashion photographer which you can use as a test shot
• How to get started, work experience, who to contact, cover letters and CV building
• Fashion internships-everything you need to know to be a success, from introductions to PR agencies, how to stand out from the rest, to the rules and etiquette of the dreaded 'fashion cupboard'
• How to assist on fashion shoots- learn how to become the best fashion assistant in the business, and become indispensable to stylists
• How to get your first paid job as a stylist, portfolio building and how to be a stylist on your own

Places are strictly limited to give you enough one on one time with Faye, and cost £130. For more information and to book please get in touch.

Personal Shopping

Do you want to shop for a living? Who wouldn't?! Learn how you can become a personal shopper and start running your own service!

• One on one training with Faye Marriott, £300 per day
• Group personal shopping training, £150 per day. Limited to 5 students

Both days run in the same format in central London and include a practical shopping exercise, covering everything you need to know to deal with clients and market yourself and your services.

  Group training sessions are running, 10am-4pm on the following dates:

• Tuesday 2nd December 2008
